Thank you for your interest in the JBA, and welcome to our parents information page. This page is designed for parents new to the JBA, and will provide basic information. More specific information is provided on the pages in the Leagues section of the website available above.
This page will provide a general overview of the JBA, some of our policies and procedures as well as a general idea of what to expect during the season.
Registration usually opens in mid December and closes at the end of January. The competitive leagues (9/10 and above) have a player evaluation in mid February with the player draft near the end of February. The younger leagues will start to hear from their coaches near the end of February.
Practices for the older leagues start in mid March if the weather permits, while the younger leagues start at the end of March.
Games start in mid April for the cometitive leagues, and the end of April for the non-competitive leagues. All leagues end the regular season near the middle of June with the competitve leagues having a week of playoff games.
Our 11 and up leagues compete with other communities, none more than a 15 minute drive from Jackson Township.
All parents are required to sign and return a parent code of conduct form (click here to view). The form must be signed before a player is allow to participate in practice or games. The JBA has also set up penalties should the code not be followed (click here to view).
